I normally am not critical with products but I had an accident with this immersion blender. Something got stuck in the top near the blade, I went to pull it out, and the way you hold it, I accidentally hit the button and severely cut up my finger. 11 stitches and I also chipped my bone. Apparently others have did the same thing when i googled it.

Yes it was a stupid mistake on my part, leaving it plugged in, but i am writing this to let customers aware. Be very careful your children do not get a hold of this, the blades are close and really sharp. and the button is extremely easy to trigger!

Definitely works better with milkshakes then the cupcake batter I was working on.

I lost everything in a flood and thought I was being thrifty by buying this item to replace an immersion blender and a mixer.

The flimsy beater takes forever to beat egg whites; does poorly on cakes; and is one of the few ripoffs I have encountered while shopping Amazon for years.

Unfortunately, I didn’t try the whip function sooner, so I’m out $83. for a piece of junk.

Performs according to my expectations so far.
Previous blenders from other brands only lasted about 6 month. . . hopefully this one will last longer

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and he uses it all the time!

This immersion blender was returned, for NO fault of the blender, it just wasn’t what I wanted. I purchased a Bamix, which was like one I’d had years ago. However, I find that Kitchen Aid appliances are good products in general.
